The road north

As we drove from Hobart we found the most unspoilt (and for the most part deserted) beaches in Swansea and Freycinet national park. We got up early to walk to Wineglass Bay and then followed the circuit through the other side of the peninsula It was a great track - except for the part when we stumbled upon two black snakes basking themselves on the sunny path. But seeing wallabies jumping around the beach at Wineglass bay more than made up for the snake encounter! We then relaxed with a coffee from the best little coffee shop in Coles Bay called Tombolo and enjoyed the view. What a view!
